so lately ive beenseeing things in new
perspective,
i guess the perk of being
a hopeless jaded cynic
is that,
things/people always
turn out better than i imagined.

It's looking like a limb torn off
Or altogether just taken apart
We're reeling through an endless fall
We are the ever-living ghost of what once was
it could be,
then again, maybe not.

i guess age has donenothing substantially great
for me other than leading
to my moral decay.
yes my life is going to be
a sad accumulation of bad karma.
i.e bad person, bad life, bad person, bad life
so as a result of
my moral decay
i would like to irrationally
blame ____ for allowing overprivileged
members of the society to exist,
leading to this wide
happy-sad disparity in humanity.
can you really blame
us for feeling just more than
a little imbalanced
when the truth is that:
there ARE people
living charmed, monied,
overprivileged, wholesome-enough
lives ???
its true that it is
easier for them to cultivate the
the ability to be happy
since
1) they are subjected to
positive feedback from the people
around
2) they exist in their impenetrable
bubble of elitism where mediocrity/poverty
is a fact they read about somewhere
but faraway nonetheless
3) they don't have to try XXX times
harder just to MAKE IT - all thanks to
the illusion of meritocracy
4) they are able to somehow detect
themselves to be
'immensely loved by people around', and
as a result spread messages of
warmth and optimism, radiating all
sorts of positive energy that
yezz, pathetic individuals like myself
can only look on with
green/teary eyezzz
happy is just convenient for
them.
for us, in order to be,
we have to be braver,
more contented, more mature,
more open-hearted.
we have to be alot of things
before we ever manage
happy.
some people are just
more perfect than we
or our future generations
will ever be.
its all doomed.

yes yes yesi am all of 21years
of old age and still
coming to terms with
anti-school sentiments.
life is just too tragic back
in NTU- my inability to
embrace the acts
of mainstream peers,
consequently leading to
my phobia of needless socializing
and of course, my
academic-impairment -
all of these forms of Pathetic
thrown into the sea of overzealous,
resume-building, facebook-using
brightsparks of the nation's
tomorrow.
it's just all bad:
minimal real-bffness,
competition-dammit-competition and
witnessing
promising youths develop while
i await my bleak future.
ARGH NOW THAT IVE GOTTEN THESE
OFF MY CHEST
here's a bit of
ZOMG TOOOO-BEAUTIFUL HANGZHOU and
CRAZY/COLD/CROWDED SHANGHAI.
will post more about the trip
